Blueprint started the same way many stories start: three people and a dream. Co-founders Trent Teti, Matt Riley, and Jodi Teti dreamt of a day when LSAT students wouldn’t hang their heads in misery at the thought of their next class. And they knew that maybe, just maybe, they were the ones to make this coffee-fueled fantasy world – in which the LSAT is both easy to learn and not eye-stabbingly painful to study for – a reality.

That dream continues to motivate them. It’s why they spend so much time molding LSAT questions into a curriculum that’s both a) understandable and b) enjoyable to learn. It’s why they update that curriculum every year, introduce new products and services, and make sure their students have every possible learning tool at their disposal. And it’s why they have a big spotlight on the roof that only Commissioner Gordon can—

Nope, sorry. That’s Batman again.

Meet the Founders

Trent Teti

Trent Teti

Trent Teti has been teaching the LSAT since the dawn of time, or thereabouts. His raw and irreverent teaching style has become famous in the (admittedly) small world of LSAT prep. Trent knows the test inside and out, and can match LSAT wits with any mind in the country. In addition to writing Blueprint's Logical Reasoning curriculum and shooting, editing, and co-starring in Blueprint: The Movie 2.0, Trent leads the Blueprint Creative Group, envisioning and developing new LSAT products—including our state-of-the-art iOS app.

Trent holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley and may or may not complete the Ph.D in philosophy at UCLA that brought him to Los Angeles in the first place. For more information, please visit Trent’s personal website, his website on solar energy projects, and his website on education.

Matt Riley

Matt Riley lives a couple blocks from the Blueprint office, but that’s not the (only) reason we keep him around. He was part of the company back when headquarters was a couch in Trent’s apartment, wrote the Logic Games portion of the Blueprint curriculum, co-teaches Blueprint: The Movie 2.0, authored The Blueprint for LSAT Logic Games, and is responsible for Blueprint’s day-to-day operations. Phew.

Like Trent, Matt has taught many thousands of LSAT students, and unlike Trent, he has never missed a question in an LSAT logic game. Matt holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Jodi Teti

Jodi Teti

Jodi Teti has been with Blueprint from the start, the Fergie to Matt and Trent’s Black Eyed Peas (this is the only thing she has in common with Fergie). She wrote the Reading Comprehension portion of the Blueprint curriculum, and is currently putting the finishing touches on The Blueprint for LSAT Reading Comprehension. Jodi is also the Head of Marketing for Blueprint; her purview includes company branding, advertising, and internet presence. Basically, she’s the reason you found this page.

In addition to her position with Blueprint, Jodi is a published fiction writer, with a B.A. in English Literature from Stanford University and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Virginia.
