First up, a reminder that Tuesday is the early deadline registration for the October LSAT. So if you plan to take the October LSAT and don’t want to pay a late fee, get on it. If you find your preferred October LSAT testing center is full, it’s not the end of the world.

The fact that we’re talking about October LSAT deadlines means it’s also law school application season. While taking the LSAT is a behemoth of a task, putting together a convincing law school application can be just as daunting — especially if you haven’t started yet.

Luckily, Blueprint LSAT Prep and Anna Ivey Consulting are here to help.

Former University of Chicago Law School Dean of Admissions Anna Ivey will lead three law school admissions workshops next weekend in Los Angeles, Irvine, and Berkeley entitled “Get Into Law School by Learning How to Think Like an Admissions Officer”. Each four-hour presentation will discuss the law school application process, how to formulate an amazing personal statement, the best way to deal with “dings” on your application (such as multiple LSAT scores), how to get great letters of recommendation, plus additional application information. It’s a great opportunity to gain insight into the law school admissions landscape from someone who’s been behind the scenes.

It’s especially valuable to Blueprint LSAT Prep students because they get a $50 discount off the normal workshop price of $250.

Here’s the full schedule of law school admission workshops:

* Sept. 6 (4-8 p.m.) at 937 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024.

* Sept. 7 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) at 3919 Westerly Place, Newport Beach, CA 92660.

* Sept. 8 (4-8 p.m.) at 2171 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA 94704.

To sign up for one of the law school admission workshops, or if you have any questions, please call the Blueprint LSAT Prep office at 888-427-7737. Or for more info, visit the Blueprint LSAT Prep Facebook events page.
