We’ve got good news for our SoCal neighbors looking to beat the heat this weekend — our event on understanding the law school admissions process is this Saturday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm!
What: Demystify the law school admissions process by attending this special seminar.
Check-in begins at 3:30, at which time you can swing by the Blueprint table to ask questions or get additional information.
At 4:00, there will be a mock admissions committee, which will allow you to see the way an admissions committee might discuss a hypothetical applicant.
Then at 5:00, attendees can either check out an LSAT seminar taught by Branden Frankel, Blueprint instructor extraordinaire (and UCLA School of Law Grad), or they can attend a demonstration and Q&A session with the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program, Trial Advocacy Honors Program, and Negotiations Honor Program.
And of course, we wouldn’t send you home hungry, so at 6:00 there will be a reception with light hors d’oeuvres and a raffle. Two lucky winners will go home with two hours of private Blueprint tutoring, and another winner will get a Southwestern book scholarship, which would cover the full cost of books during 1L if they were to be accepted to and attend SWLS. Plus, you’ll get the chance to mingle with Blueprint and the other presenters — what could be better?
When: Saturday, September 9, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Where: Southwestern Law School, 3050 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles (oh, and did I mention that there’s free parking?)
RSVP: If you’re willing and able to join us, RSVP here, and get ready for a great day.
