(And don’t worry. Unlike most carnival games, Blueprint’s aren’t rigged.)

It’s time for another LSAT blog caption contest. Take a look at the image below and write a funny LSAT or law school-related caption in the comments. Check out some of our past caption contest winners to get a feel of what we’re looking for.

This one’s definitely worth entering, too, because we’re giving the first-place winner a $300 discount off one of Blueprint’s spring 2014 live LSAT prep classes or $100 off our spring 2014 online LSAT prep course. We’ll announce the winner next week right here on the LSAT blog.

Caption Contest Winner: Who Won $200 Off Online LSAT Prep

With the 2013 December LSAT just over a month away (yep), we here at Blueprint LSAT Prep thought we’d give all you procrastinators out there a chance to take our online LSAT prep course with a sizable discount. Enter: our latest LSAT blog caption contest.

Before announcing the winner, here’s how it went down: Last week, we posted the above photo and asked for prospective students to write a funny LSAT or law school-related caption. We pick our favorite one, and the winner receives a $200 discount off our 2013 fall online LSAT prep course — which gives you access for two testing administrations. Although some submissions were from ineligible entrants, they did not disappoint.

So without further ado, here’s the winning entry in the LSAT blog caption contest:

See Who Won a Free Law School Admission Workshop Entry

With a slew of law school admission workshops starting this week, we here at Blueprint LSAT Prep wanted to give away a free entry via the classic blog pastime: a caption contest.

It’s a heck of a prize, if you ask us. The workshops cost $250 to attend, although Blueprint LSAT Prep students get a $50 discount. Plus, all attendees receive a free copy of the e-book, The Ivey Guide to Law School Admissions.

The workshops are taught by Anna Ivey, author of that book and founder of Ivey Consulting. Starting tomorrow, Ivey, a former Dean of Admissions at the University of Chicago Law School, will discuss how to “Get Into Law School by Learning How to Think Like an Admissions Officer” in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Berkeley, Irvine, and Los Angeles.

Caption Contest: Free Law School Admission Workshop Entry

Blueprint LSAT Prep’s law school admission workshops are coming to a city near you! (You know, depending on where you live.)

Last month, Anna Ivey — former Dean of Admissions at the University of Chicago Law School and founder of Ivey Consulting — presented her workshop (titled “Get Into Law School by Learning How to Think Like an Admissions Officer”) in Los Angeles, Irvine and Berkeley. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 9, you can take part in workshops in New York, Boston, Chicago and San Diego — as well as return trips to Berkeley, Irvine and LA.

Each four-hour presentation will discuss the law school application process, how to formulate an amazing personal statement, the best way to deal with “dings” on your law school application (such as multiple LSAT scores), how to get great letters of recommendation, plus additional application information.

Caption Contest: Win a Free Blueprint LSAT Prep T-Shirt

You’re wearing that today?

No worries. Blueprint is tops in the game when it comes to LSAT prep, but now we’re doing our part to help students with their wardrobes.

Here on the LSAT blog, we’re giving away two free Blueprint t-shirts to whoever writes the best caption for the above photo. We’re giving one shirt to someone taking the October LSAT, and one shirt to someone taking the December LSAT — so be sure to indicate in your post which exam you plan to take.

The key is to write a caption that’s funny and somehow relates to law school or the LSAT. Keep in mind, all comments have to be approved by a moderator.

Caption Contest Winners: The Law School Admission Game

We received some great submissions in last week’s caption contest for the photo above. You might say LSAT blog commenters really took the bull by the horns.

[crickets]

Anyway, after much consideration, we whittled it down to our five favorite captions. So congratulations to the five people below, each of whom has won a free copy of Law School Expert Ann Levine’s newly released second edition of The Law School Admission Game.

Here they are, in alphabetical order:

Caption Contest II: Win $100 Off Our Online LSAT Prep Course

Take a good look at the photo above. It could earn you a $100 discount off Blueprint LSAT Prep’s online course.

After the success of the LSAT blog’s first caption contest, we’re doin’ it again. Comment on this post with a caption for the photo, and the funniest one that has something to do with the LSAT or law school (to be picked by Blueprint LSAT Prep principals) will win the $100 discount. The discount must be applied to a summer online LSAT prep course. If you already paid for a Blueprint LSAT Prep online course for the summer or you’d prefer a different prize, you may choose a Starbucks giftcard as an alternative.

Winners will be announced next Monday, May 6, right here on the LSAT blog.

Caption Contest: Win $100 Off Our Online LSAT Prep Course

Internet comments are almost never associated with good. No matter what the post — be it a blog article, YouTube video, or passive-agressive Facebook status — there will always be some wiseass who uses the comments section to spew the most short-sighted, hateful garbage you’ve ever read. Quite frankly, we’re sick of it.

That’s why we decided to bring the funny back to internet comments. Use the comments section of this LSAT blog post to submit a funny caption for the above photo.

The author of the best caption (to be decided by Blueprint LSAT Prep principals) will score a $100 discount off a spring Blueprint LSAT Prep online course for preparing for the June LSAT. The contest ends Tuesday (April 16), and the winner will be announced Wednesday (April 17).
